As with many lodges Annawon Lodge #115 has had a considerable decline in membership over the years.  Our magnificent temple building at 304 Center Street in West Haven was too large and presented many challenges in upkeep and modernization, so the decision was made to look for a more suitable site.  Annawon Lodge 115’s Masonic Temple was sold to the city of West Haven in 2007.

Front entrance to the Temple, you can see the seven steps, there are also five, and three steps…

Annawon Lodge #115 was CLOSED on the Master Mason degree in December 2007 and a farewell party was given by outgoing Worshipful Master Bob Gundersen. Over 100 attended from far and wide.  There was music, feasting and the old pipe organ was heard again.

Now, 10 years later…we enjoy a building at 263 Center Street in West Haven and we have been having a surge in membership. The interior of our lodge room has been designed to look and feel like our old building.
